We are seeking a high-skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engines. Your goal is to ensure our fleet remains compliant with DOT regulations and operates at peak efficiency to minimize transit delays for our customers.

salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year

Responsibilities



  • Diagnostics & Repair: Use advanced diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins Insite, JPro, or CAT ET) to troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electrical issues.

  • Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform routine PMs including oil changes, filter replacements, and "dry" inspections to identify potential failures before they happen.

  • Brakes & Suspension: Service air brake systems, ABS, wheel ends, and air suspension components in accordance with FMCSA standards.

  • Aftertreatment Systems: Maintain and repair DPF, SCR, and DOC systems to ensure emissions compliance.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic service records for every vehicle to ensure a "clean" audit trail for DOT inspections.

  • Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean and organized shop environment; mentor junior technicians on safety protocols and complex repairs.
