responsibilities:
- Design, troubleshoot, and provide support for various electrical systems, including high-voltage power distribution, low and medium voltage power systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and AC/DC drives.
- Create, update, validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations.
- Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system model
- Perform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendations
- Reviewing proposed equipment replacement or upgrades including capital projects
- Provide cost estimates for engineering projects
- Work with other engineers and maintenance department to complete projects (Planning, Scheduling, Reliability)
- Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Coordinate and manage various "key" projects with "shutdown/outages"
- Scheduling and coordinating with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance.
