Leading system designer/integrator in the Monclova, OH area is looking for a full-time Field Service Technician. Candidates must be open to up to 40% travel. Travel is about one week at a time twice per month. The Field Service Technician should have good knowledge of electrical and mechanical industrial components and controls as well as the ability to edit and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Control programs and industrial robots (Fanuc preferred). responsibilities:

• Handle and respond to customer calls
  
  
• Preventative maintenance audits, warranty callbacks, installations and / or supervision for installations for new and existing equipment
  
  
• Testing and troubleshooting new equipment
  
  
• Conduct customer training and installations
  
  
• Updating electrical prints and programs when returning from the field

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical industrial components and controls
  
  
• Must be able to go to heights of 20 feet and work under machinery and do heavy lifting.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and edit Allen-Bradley PLCs
  
  
• Follow mechanical assembly and detail drawings
  
  
• Experience troubleshooting industrial robots (Fanuc preferred but will consider others)
  
  
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills
  
  
• AutoCAD experience preferred
  
  
• Must be willing to travel about 40%.
