The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems. Responsibilities
SUMMARY
Industrial Maintenance Specialist to work as an electrical-mechanical technician with skills in electronics, mechanical, pneumatics and hydraulics. Installs, troubleshoots and repairs various types of production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Regular attendance is a requirement that is key to performing the job.
- Must have own tools.
- Sizes and runs electrical metal conduit and sizes and pulls wires properly to local codes.
- Tests and repairs or prelaces A/C motors and controls, and replaces fuses, circuit breakers, and other electical distribution devices.
- Uses common pieces of electrical test equipment such as a VOM, Motor Insulation Tester, and an Oscilloscope.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs various types of production equipment.
- Troubleshoots PLC control operation systems.
- Sizes and installs electircal service (including transformers) for new equipment based on manufacturers' information.
- Able to multitask and work under minimal supervision for any electrical project.
- Other duties may be assigned.
The essential functions of this role include:manual lifting up to 40lbsworking up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
