Investor Relations Associate

A private investment firm with deep expertise across public and private markets is seeking an Investor Relations Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to join the firm's Operations Team which is dedicated to providing key support to the firm's rapidly expanding private equity and venture capital businesses. The Operations team plays a vital role in overseeing fund operations encompassing accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and investor relations.

responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Client Relationship Management system, updating new and existing accounts with relevant information.

- Assist investors with the investor dashboard; help navigate the portal, pull reports.

- Develop reports and work with external data support teams and across operational teams to maximize efficient use of data.

- Support development of critical KPIs and maturity of programs and performance by individual investment, fund, sector & portfolio

- Assist with planning roadshows, conference schedules and investor meetings/calls.

- Develop strong working relationships with internal teams and external service

providers.

- Lead or support projects related to operations, systems infrastructure, and process

improvements.

- Create and review ad-hoc reports for investors upon request.

 
qualifications:
- A successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in finance or accounting with a focus on investments/private equity.

- Adept at Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Familiarity with Salesforce is highly preferred.

- Highly detail-oriented, Well-organized self-starter with high energy, creativity, and

thoughtfulness.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines well and work effectively under pressure.

This position sits in Arlington, VA and operates on a hybrid work schedule. Salary is $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus + comprehensive benefits.
