Well establish, very reputable and growing organization is looking for a Lean Six Sigma Engineer in the Beaumont, Texas area.

This role comes with an excellent compensation plan commensurate with experience with base salary ranging from $150k to $160k plus an annual 20% bonus. Relocation assistance is also available.

responsibilities:
-Experience driving operational excellence to delivering year-over-year improvements in cost and productivity and implementation of key KPI's related to cost, maintenance, automation, reliability etc.

-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times

-Actively reviews practices, workflows and systems to indentify opportunities and advises on appropriate interventions for process improvements that impact production and business results; champions waste eliminations and reductions

-Designs, develops and implements effective solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, including creating and updating process documentation and workflows and ensuring they are sustained by the business

-Drives improvement projects across various departments, utilizing standardized OPEX tools and methods to enhance performance and maximize EBITA

-Facilitates change management by engaging with cross functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and provides training and support to employees at all levels to encourage the adoption of new processes and tools

-Promotes safety-first culture by incorporating health and safety considerations into all process improvements

-Incorporates data analysis and problem solving through Lean manufacturing methodologies, DMAIC, Value Stream Maps, 5-Why, Ishikawa diagrams, FMEAs and/or Kaizen to investigate issues and performance drivers to establish robust action plans

Education:

-Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred

-Six Sigma Black Belt preferred

Experience:

-Minimum 7 years of proven experience in engineering, maintenance, reliability, project management, Six Sigma/Lean, productivity or continuous improvement roles
