We are currently hiring Machine Maintenance Mechanics in New Bedford, MA. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical production equipment. 2nd shift positions are currently available.  This is a permanent position with our client.   

salary: $62,000 - $81,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Performing troubleshooting on plant production equipment using schematics and blueprints.
• Perform machining, welding and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical assemblies.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma is required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings and blueprints.
