responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of 25 maintenance professionals including supervisors and engineers
  
  
• Oversee the reliability and repair of high-speed manufacturing lines and asphalt processing systems
  
  
• Drive a culture of trust, accountability, and professional development across the department
  
  
• Maintain a constant floor presence to monitor equipment health and support technical staff
  
  
• Minimize unplanned downtime by shifting from reactive repairs to proactive preventative maintenance
  
  
• Partner with operations and engineering to align maintenance activities with production goals
  
  
• Manage all maintenance work orders, planning, and parts inventory through the sap system
  
  
• Lead root cause analysis investigations for significant equipment or safety failures
  
  
• Coordinate large-scale outages and shutdowns involving up to 25 outside contractors
  
  
• Manage the annual maintenance budget and optimize spending on parts and labor
  
  
• ensure strict compliance with safey protocols including lockout/tagout and hot work permits
  
  
• Oversee the inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels, and relief devices
  
  
• Assist in the design and execution of capital projects and equipment upgrades
  
  
• Monitor key performance metrics to improve labor efficiency and asset availability
