Employment Information
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join an overnight operations team. In this role, you will be the backbone of the production efficiency, responsible for the installation, repair, and upkeep of complex industrial machinery and facility systems. You will work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines to ensure the facility maintains peak operational performance with minimal downtime. This rotating schedule provides a unique balance, offering "long weekends", consistent days off every other week, and 8 hours of built in overtime every other week. 

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 8 PM - 8 AM
education: No Degree Required



Responsibilities

Schedule:
Rotating "3-2-2" Shift
8:00 PM ? 8:00 AM
Week 1 - 3 Days On
Week 2 - 4 Days On
Rotation includes every other weekend

  • Conduct systematic inspections of production machinery to identify potential issues before they cause failure.
  • Perform routine tasks including lubrication, filter replacements, and critical adjustments on drives, motors, and belt systems.
  • Execute scheduled PM work orders within the (CMMS).
  • Diagnose and remediate malfunctions in complex production equipment using a variety of hand/power tools and precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize electrical and electronic testing devices to troubleshoot circuitry and control systems.
  • Address hydraulic and pneumatic system failures, ensuring fluid power systems are sealed and pressurized correctly.
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of new production lines and facility equipment.
  • Recommend and implement modifications to existing machinery to improve safety, quality, or throughput.
Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude with a proven track record in an industrial environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills; ability to "think on your feet" during high-pressure downtime events.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical service manuals.
  • Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems is required. Familiarity with CMMS software is a significant advantage.
The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • standing for 12 hours at one time
