salary: $60,320 - $62,400 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
_ Adheres to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identifies and reports safety problems, corrects
when possible.
_ Troubleshoots and performs electrical and mechanical repairs on various types of equipment including furnaces, blast equipment,
conveyors, pumps, and cranes.
_ Performs mechanical assembly work on pumps, gearboxes, screws, and other industrial components.
_ Install manufacturing machinery.
_ Fabricates machinery, tool and equipment components as required to maintain systems.
_ Provides technical assistance in design and selection of equipment.
_ Welds overhead and vertical with stick and mig welders.
_ Reads and interprets manuals, drawings and schematics for equipment.
_ Completes compliance logs and records.
_ Follows written and verbal instructions with a minimum amount of direct supervision.
