Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment including lift trucks, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  
  
• Troubleshoot complex equipment problems where the cause of the repair is not immediately visible or obvious.
  
  
• Diagnose refrigeration and electrical issues using technical drawings and diagnostic tools like a multi-meter or laptop.
  
  
• Read and understand technical drawings such as blueprints and electronic or mechanical schematics to repair and maintain equipment.
  
  
• Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
  
  
• Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
  
  
• Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of distribution center equipment and the building.
