A very well respected boutique plaintiff's firm is seeking a seasoned litigator to take on the role of Managing Attorney. In this role you will analyze case metrics to manage case direction, mentor attorneys and partner closely with Operations to streamline workflows. This firm is very selective about the cases they take on, the cases are typically 7-8 figure cases. Work is in office 5 days/week. Position requires (a) an active license to practice law in California; (b) 10+ years of civil litigation experience; (c) first chair trial experience; (d) supervisory / management experience. Salary of $210,000 - 270,000 + comprehensive benefits (401K, health, dental and vision insurance, etc).

Business_Minded Plaintiff?s Litigation Leadership
? Demonstrates strong business acumen in managing a contingency_fee?based practice, with a focus on firmwide financial performance and operational efficiency
Litigation Strategy & Case Leadership
? Own case strategy from intake through trial; conduct risk assessments, budget/scoping, and settlement posture.
? Review and refine pleadings, motions, discovery plans, and evidentiary strategy; ensure consistent, high_quality work product.
? First_chair or supervise key proceedings (motions, mediations, MSCs, and trial), as needed
Attorney Coaching & Trial Readiness
? Coach associates and trial attorneys on deposition planning and execution.
? Lead trial_skills development: openings/closings, expert work_ups, and jury instructions.
? Conduct regular case ?readiness? reviews
