National manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Manufacturing Engineer. This position is located near Eclectic, Alabama. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for manufacturing process control and process improvements to maintain efficiency and reduce costs.

The salary is commensurate with experience ranging from $70K to $85K, plus a potential bonus, and other great benefits! All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

responsibilities:

• Evaluate current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, safety, and reduce costs
  
  
• Create standard work procedures and associated support documentation
  
  
• Work closely with manufacturing and engineering personnel to review product designs and/or enhancements for manufacturability
  
  
• Participate and lead in implementing lean manufacturing principles throughout all manufacturing areas as appropriate
