Responsibilities

• Engine Diagnostics & Repair: Perform routine maintenance and complex overhauls on inboard, outboard, and sterndrive engines (e.g., Yamaha, Mercury, Volvo Penta, or Cummins).
  
  
• Electrical Systems: Install and troubleshoot DC/AC electrical circuits, battery management systems, and high-end marine electronics like Garmin or Simrad GPS and radar units.
  
  
• Systems Maintenance: Service and repair auxiliary systems, including bilge pumps, freshwater systems, air conditioning units, and hydraulic steering.
  
  
• Preventative Inspections: Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections and sea trials to ensure vessels meet safety standards and peak performance benchmarks.
  
  
• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and labor hours through digital service management software.
  
  
• Winterization & Commissioning: Prepare vessels for seasonal storage or long-range cruises, ensuring all systems are stabilized or brought back online correctly.
