Growing systems integrator in the Maumee area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required, as well as 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Excellent company culture and benefits!

responsibilities:

Develop system layout drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings
Partner with internal teams to improve equipment designs and manufacturing processes
Design mechanical robotic systems and components
Generate bills of materials (BOMs)
Update systems and equipment drawings and participate in equipment testing
Work hands-on with machinery during build, debug, and testing phases
Support equipment through fabrication, assembly, and factory acceptance testing

Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience
Must be open to slight travel for trade shows and occasional customer visits, around 10%
