Growing systems integrator in the Maumee area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required, as well as 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Excellent company culture and benefits!

responsibilities:

• Develop system layout drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings
  
  
• Partner with internal teams to improve equipment designs and manufacturing processes
  
  
• Design mechanical robotic systems and components
  
  
• Generate bills of materials (BOMs)
  
  
• Update systems and equipment drawings and participate in equipment testing
  
  
• Work hands-on with machinery during build, debug, and testing phases
  
  
• Support equipment through fabrication, assembly, and factory acceptance testing

Requirements:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  
  
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
  
  
• 4+ years of relevant mechanical design experience
  
  
• Must be open to slight travel for trade shows and occasional customer visits, around 10%
