MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Material Science Engineering, or similar technical field.
2 years related experience in manufacturing.

PREFERENCES:

Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO/TS/IATF 16949, ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems
2+ years of experience in the metals industry.
Customer interface experience.

responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze metallurgical properties of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to customer specifications and industry standards.
Investigate and determine root causes of internal and external product defects or failures, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
Serve as a primary technical contact for customers regarding product performance, material selection, application questions, and metallurgical issues.
Participate in new product development initiatives, including material selection, process definition, and testing protocols.
Visit customer sites to understand their applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
