Sr. Product Metallurgist-Full time-Direct Hire- Sr. Product metallurgist (Aerospace/Metallurgy) is needed for a client near the New Castle/Butler, PA area. Full time direct hire role. Candidate must have experience working as a Metallurgist/Materials Engineer from the Aerospace industry currently or recent experience. Base salary $130,000 - $160,000 depending upon experience + relocation assistance+ benefits, 401 K and a great work culture.

responsibilities:

• Oversees the investigation and disposition of non-conforming material (NCMs).
  
  
• Instructs the Sales department by providing technical guidance and creation/revision of E-grades and remelt profiles to meet customer needs.
  
  
• Responsible for developing and leading quality training for EQS employees.
  
  
• Reviews production schedule and processing records to ensure that Operations follows procedures and sound metallurgical practices.
  
  
• Travel (local, national and international) as needed to different facilities, conferences or customers
