As a key member of the team, you will oversee the financial health of their construction projects. This role focuses on job costing, detailed variance analysis, and full-cycle accounting support to ensure operations remain efficient and profitable.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

• Project Finance: Maintain detailed job cost records and establish/analyze project budgets for multiple active sites.
• Reporting & Analysis: Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and support Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and cash flow tracking.
• General Accounting: Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and manage accruals.
• Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers and leadership to ensure financial accuracy and project success.
• Closing Duties: Assist in monthly and year-end closings and the preparation of financial reports.

 
qualifications:

• 1-5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
