Join our dedicated Quality Control team as a QC Technician I ($27.86/hour) or QC Technician II ($31.00/hour), with placement determined by your relevant experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory procedures. You will be essential in ensuring the quality of all finished products and raw materials by performing rigorous testing, analyzing in-process and release samples, and meticulously investigating any out-of-specification (OOS) or out-of-trend (OOT) results. Candidates must hold a Bachelor?s Degree in Chemistry or a related field and be prepared to maintain equipment calibration, manage SOPs, and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and safe working conditions. We are hiring for various shifts, including days and nights, and require flexibility for weekend and holiday work, with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee test results for of all AKBMM finished products according to specifications and relevant procedures
• Conduct test results for raw materials according to specifications and relevant procedures
• Perform analyses for in-process and release samples according to specifications and relevant procedures
• Manage analytical testing of third parties? products
• Investigate and interpret data to determine if the reported data meets specifications or expected outcomes
• Perform investigations on out of trends and out-of-specification results
• Prepare documents enabling the traceability of results obtained in laboratory experiments
• Write, review and update standard operating procedures and department policies
• Maintain equipment maintenance, calibration and all equipment validation activities with the QC areas.
• Calibrate daily verification of instruments
• Perform laboratory instrument and analytical method troubleshooting
• Work closely with QC Manager, Senior QC Technician and other departments such as production, warehouse
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Job requires availability to work on certain weekends and holidays
• Other duties as assigned by management
