Seeking a Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a growing client in Bridgewater, NJ. Onsite role with up to 20% travel (domestic and international). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in quality or project engineering in manufacturing. Expert knowledge of Quality Control Standards, methodologies and practices are a must.

responsibilities:

Builds procedures, reviews technical documentation from vendors, documents, inspects and approves vendor and customer engineering drawings.
Develops and implements quality control programs and processes for manufacturing of structural steel, ducting, energy sector, Oil & gas, piping, pressure vessels and other similar equipment and industries.
Up to 20% travel to customer sites for quality inspections
Reviews quality codes of construction from vendors and suppliers (AWS D1.1, B31.1 and B31.3, NACE, ASME II, V, VIII, IX, AISC, ASNT, API etc.)
Develops test plans
