What You?ll Do As the R&O Quality Inspector, you are the final word on safety and quality. Your expertise will guide our repair station through every stage of the inspection process.

  • Lead & Mentor: Train and assist inspection personnel, ensuring the team stays sharp through proficiency checks and hands-on guidance.

  • Technical Oversight: Perform critical inspections?from incoming and hidden damage to final release?adhering strictly to RSQCM and CMM standards.

  • Maintain Precision: Oversee tool calibrations and equipment status to ensure our bench test equipment (O-scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.) is always mission-ready.

  • Expert Liaison: Act as a technical resource for Field & Tech Services and a direct partner to the Accountable Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • The R&O Quality Inspector is responsible for the Quality Control of the repairs within the 145-repair station
  • Must adhere to the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and all 14 CFR Aviation Regulations
  • Duties/Responsibilities of the R&O Quality Inspector
  • Train, direct, and assist all inspection personnel performing work under the repair station certificate as directed by the Accountable Manager
  • Ensure the proficiency of every inspector by completing the Inspector Proficiency Checklist Form RSF-211-01
  • Ensure all incoming, hidden damage, preliminary, in-process, and final inspections are performed following the procedures outlined in the manual
  • Respond to any request for inspection of this repair station certificate
  • Determine the final disposition of articles failing to meet the incoming inspection review as directed by the Accountable Manager
  • Ensure appropriate calibrations and checks are made on the tools and equipment used by the repair station as described in the manual
  • Red-tag or placard any malfunctioning or non-functioning equipment
  • Assist Field & Tech Services with aviation technical questions
  • Additional duties as assigned
