Responsibilities
- The R&O Quality Inspector is responsible for the Quality Control of the repairs within the 145-repair station
- Must adhere to the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and all 14 CFR Aviation Regulations
- Duties/Responsibilities of the R&O Quality Inspector
- Train, direct, and assist all inspection personnel performing work under the repair station certificate as directed by the Accountable Manager
- Ensure the proficiency of every inspector by completing the Inspector Proficiency Checklist Form RSF-211-01
- Ensure all incoming, hidden damage, preliminary, in-process, and final inspections are performed following the procedures outlined in the manual
- Respond to any request for inspection of this repair station certificate
- Determine the final disposition of articles failing to meet the incoming inspection review as directed by the Accountable Manager
- Ensure appropriate calibrations and checks are made on the tools and equipment used by the repair station as described in the manual
- Red-tag or placard any malfunctioning or non-functioning equipment
- Assist Field & Tech Services with aviation technical questions
- Additional duties as assigned
