Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their technical services team. This role is dedicated to providing high-level design, implementation, and ongoing support for a diverse portfolio of local clients in the Southeastern Wisconsin area.

responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Delivery: Provide ongoing networking support services for current and future clients, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Network Administration: Manage day-to-day administration of complex client networks, including firewalls, switches, and wireless infrastructure.
- Project Leadership: Execute high-level network design and implementation projects from inception to completion.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive network and project documentation to ensure operational continuity.
- Client Relations: Serve as a primary technical contact, communicating effectively across all levels of a client's organization.
qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in high-level network design, implementation, and support.
- Firewalls/Security: Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, ZTNA, and VPN technologies (SSL-VPN, IPSec).
- Routing & Switching: HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, and Juniper.
- Connectivity: LAN/WAN, ACLs, VLANs, and strong IPv4/Subnetting mastery.
- WLAN: 802.11ac/ax standards, wireless controllers, and APs (HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet).
- NAC: HPE/Aruba ClearPass, FortiNAC, or Cisco ISE.
- SAN: iSCSI SAN architecture and storage area network management.
- Advanced Routing: SD-WAN, OSPF, and BGP protocols
- Ability to travel locally within Southeastern Wisconsin to provide on-site client support.
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; must be a self-starter with a high level of attention to detail.
