Leading engineering firm is looking for a Senior level Piping Designer to add to the team due to growth. This role will work on innovative water and wastewater projects based in either Atlanta, GA or Greenville, SC. Will lead the production of detailed design packages, coordinate across disciplines, and support engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and Plant 3D with leadership skills, passionate about leveraging cutting-edge tools to drive efficiency, quality, and impact. In office role, open to relocation.

responsibilities:

• Define and enforce multidisciplinary workflows, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and CAD/BIM standards to ensure project consistency.
  
  
• Develop high-quality 2D/3D design packages for water/wastewater projects using AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
  
  
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and conduct automated clash detection to resolve conflicts and ensure constructibility.
  
  
• Provide advanced software troubleshooting, staff training, and mentorship to drive team proficiency and innovation.
  
  
• Implement emerging tools-including laser scanning, drone data, and AR/VR-to modernize site investigations and enhance project delivery.
