responsibilities:

• Perform Die Correction and Tooling Repair to ensure existing dies meet performance requirements and quality standards.
  
  
• Analyze and Optimize Die Performance by reviewing design, documenting corrections, and recommending changes based on performance history and metal flow dynamics.
  
  
• Contribute to New Die Design by collaborating with management to review new designs and suggest improvements for manufacturing efficiency.
  
  
• Inspect Extrusion Products against section prints, identify defects on die bearings, and apply appropriate repair techniques.

Required Skills

• Advanced Die Correction Expertise: 5-8 years of experience in die correction, specifically within architectural product manufacturing.
  
  
• Tooling Operation and Measurement Proficiency: Expert operation of mill machines, die presses, sandblasters, and caustic systems, including the proper use of precision measuring equipment.
  
  
• Technical Literacy and Analysis: Ability to read section prints, understand associated hazards/chemicals, and analyze production data (e.g., die ratio and efficiency) to inform process improvements.
