Are you a shipping supervisor or shipping coordinator? Randstad has a shipping supervisor opening for a company in the Greeneville, TN area. Pay will be around $60k to $70k a year and the person will need at least two years experience as a shipping supervisor/coordinator. Responsibilities
_ Attending shipping meetings with Plant Manager, Materials Manager, and sales team to verify shipments,
trucks needed, and any problems that may delay the shipments.
_ Ensuring proper storing and staging of products by SKU, size, color, etc. in the warehouse and yard.
_ Coordinate with Production Team to provide the Sales and Customer Service Team with information regarding
shipment dates and shipping delays.
_ Work closely with our 3 rd Party Logistics partners to maintain visibility and accountability of all material, both
finished goods, inbound / outbound scrap for reprocessing.
_ Determine load configurations including combing orders in similar areas to fulfill orders or fill trucks to ship
together.
_ Provide shipment dates and information to the Sales and Customer Service team.
_ Maintain working relationship with freight partners.
_ Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements for packaging and shipping.
_ Heavily engaged in inventory activities such as adjustments through rewind or cycle counts.
_ Ensures raw materials and all deliveries are received in, accounted for, and transacted properly in the ERP
system and validate with the purchase order.
_ Work with QA Department to ensure returned goods are inspected and paperwork is completed.
_ Inspires a culture of safety, 5S, and continuous improvement.
_ Must be a Team Player and Team Builder.
_ Ensure packaging, loading and shipping procedures are strictly adhered to.
