responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Provide high-level direction, mentorship, and rigorous code reviews for a team of data engineers and developers.

Data Engineering Architecture: Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines leveraging Snowflake, dbt, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) using modern ELT/ETL practices.

Integration Excellence: Design and maintain robust APIs and event-based integrations via the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to ensure seamless cross-system connectivity.

Modernization & Strategy: Drive the transition of legacy data flows into modern, cloud-native architectures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate complex business requirements into elegant technical realities.

Governance & Quality: Establish and enforce best practices for CI/CD, automated testing, and comprehensive data governance.

 
qualifications:
Professional Background: Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity leading data or integration teams.

The Snowflake/SQL Expert: Deep expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, SnowPipe, Streaming, SnowSQL) and advanced SQL optimization.

The MuleSoft Specialist: Proven experience in API development using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.

Data Orchestration: Hands-on experience with dbt and Azure Data Factory for transformation and data model orchestration.

Modern DevOps: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Maven) and automated testing frameworks.

Agile Mindset: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams within Agile delivery models across enterprise-level projects.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
