The Technical Services Metallurgist will serve as the bridge between the manufacturer and customer, provide support in material selection, root cause analysis investigation, continuous improvement and claim management. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering with 5+ years experience in the steel and automotive industries. Must be able/willing to travel to customer locations as necessary.

Understand, interpret and communicate customer quality and technical requirements and material specifications.
Manage customer feedback and keep managers aware of any issues including claims and corrective actions.
Lead problem-solving efforts for all quality and technical related issues.
Understand future customer materials needs and trends, while keeping customer updated on current and future capabilities.
Support customer in use and material selection process of products.
