Randstad is currently seeking a skilled Welder for an opportunity at a warehouse facility in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling metal components and repairing metal parts using heavy machinery. Your primary duties will include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into specific shapes, and smoothing molten metal to ensure a high-quality finish.

salary: $52,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

Study and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Clean, cut, and position metal parts, tacking them into place before welding

Operate welding machines (like MIG, TIG, Stick) and cutting torches to fuse, fill, and shape metal

Monitor the welding process for overheating or defects, inspect finished welds, and grind surfaces smooth

Maintain and clean welding equipment, torches, and the work area

Follow all safety regulations, wear appropriate gear, and report faulty equipment.
