About the Role

Randstad is working with a client that is looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installation Supervisor to lead field installation teams on new construction, remodels, and large-scale refrigeration projects. This leader will oversee day-to-day install operations, ensure quality workmanship, maintain project timelines, and serve as the on-site expert for commercial refrigeration systems.

Hours- Monday thru Friday- 1st shift

Pay Rate-$38-$50 hourly DOE plus opportunity for bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct refrigeration installation crews on commercial projects
  
  
• Manage installation of walk-in coolers/freezers, rack systems, condensers, piping, and evaporators
  
  
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  
  
• Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety requirements, and mechanical codes
  
  
• Coordinate daily tasks, manpower, and materials with project managers and subcontractors
  
  
• Troubleshoot installation issues and support start-up/commissioning teams
  
  
• Maintain job logs, field reports, and installation documentation
  
  
• Train and mentor junior installers and technicians
  
  
• Communicate effectively with site leadership, general contractors, and internal teams

Required Experience

• 3-5+ years of commercial refrigeration or HVAC-R installation experience
  
  
• Prior leadership or supervision experience in a construction or mechanical environment
  
  
• extensive knowledge of refrigeration piping, brazing, rack systems, and mechanical installation practices
  
  
• Ability to lead crews, read plans, and work in fast-paced construction environments
  
  
• EPA 608 certification preferred
  
  
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
