Our client a heavy wet utility contractor that has been serving the Tidewater area for over 30 years is looking for a new Construction Mainteannce Tech to join their Hampton Roads team. With office locations in Suffolk and Richmond, VA, the company performs water, sewer, storm drain, and force main installations for local municipalities. responsibilities:

• Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls of heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, heavy-haul tractor trailers, small engine equipment, and company fleet trucks
  
  
• Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve vehicle or equipment concerns

Qualifications

• Familiar with construction equipment
  
  
• 2 years maintenance experience
  
  
• CDL is preferred but not required
  
  
• Ability to diagnose and repair in the field as well as the shop
  
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
