We're seeking a Controls Engineer for a Material Handling Integrator client in the Orlando, FL area. An average of 30% travel is required for this position.

The ideal candidate will have a 3+ years of PLC programming (Rockwell) and HMI programming (Factory Talk) from scratch and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering degree.

Must also have experience in configuring and commissioning:

VFD's, Scanners, Scales, MDR, etc.
Communication Networks using Ethernet
Electrical and PLC Safety Circuits, experience with Rockwell PLC programming is a major plus.

Creates PLC programs, HMI programs, IO Lists, Configures and commissions Ethernet Networks using VFDs, Scanners, Scales, RIO Modules, and other devices.
Onsite Implementation and testing of projects.
Works with cross-functional engineering and project management teams to design, specify, implement and commission material handling systems for customers.
