Industrial Equipment Mechanic
2nd Shift- 3:00pm- 1:00am Monday-Thursday $34-36/hour + $2 shift diff
Position Summary
Provide direct support to enable the Maintenance Department to independently carry out daily responsibilities and integrate all phases of electronic/automated equipment installation, updates, and repairs.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems equipment down to the component level, including 480V electrical power distribution, instrumentation, motor controls, relay logic, VFD's, Servo's, I/O devices/modules, PLC's, HMI's, and communication networks.
- Make program modifications in PLC's logic, HMI's programs, Drive (Inverter), and servo controller logic to improve equipment performance.
- Manage all PLC, Drive and HMI programs and changes as well as electrical documentation Ensure that they are all accurate, updated, and available to the technicians and archived at regular intervals.
- Must have experience with the National Electrical Code.
- Develops and implements new electrical preventative maintenance tasks and procedures.
- Train and assist technicians to troubleshoot, repair, replace and commission all electrical control devices including AC drives, DC drives, Servo Controllers, contactors, motors, breakers, solenoids power supplies and indicator lights. All PLC/HMI hardware including processors, discrete and analog I/O cards, power supplies, network adapters, I/O hardware, communications systems, operator interfaces such as Panel view, PC based interfaces, and message displays.
- Work with engineering on specific electrical and or controls projects from design to startup, including HMI and PLC programming, installation, checkout, start-up and training.
