Location: Hanover Park, IL _ Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (Every other weekend off!) ? Shift: 7:30 AM ? 4:00 PM ? 30 min unpaid lunch + 2 paid breaks Pay: $25?$28/hr based on experience

Role Summary: Randstad USA is seeking entry-level Junior Maintenance Technicians who are eager to grow their skills in a clean, automated manufacturing facility. You?ll work under experienced mentors to learn how to support production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

  _ Qualifications & Skills:

• 1?2 years of technical experience in a manufacturing or hands-on mechanical role preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate?s degree or trade school a plus (not required)
• Comfortable using hand tools, drills, and measuring equipment
• Basic understanding of safety practices in a production environment
• Able to read and understand basic instructions and fill out maintenance records
• Must be dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
• Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for 8?10 hour shifts
• Standing, kneeling, climbing, and reaching throughout the shift
• Comfortable in a high-noise, manufacturing environment
• Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay: $25?$28/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on production equipment
• Learn to diagnose non-functioning equipment using manuals, schematics, and training
• Support line changeovers, setups, and preventive maintenance tasks
• Use basic tools and test equipment under supervision
• Document maintenance activity clearly and accurately
• Perform equipment inspections and communicate potential issues to the senior tech team
• Participate in safety walkthroughs and support clean work environments
• Learn to interpret simple blueprints and drawings
• Follow company safety protocols, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Communicate shift updates clearly during technician handoffs
