We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operational performance of industrial equipment and machinery. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, encompassing preventative measures, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance (PM) on a variety of industrial equipment and machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
Repair and/or replace defective parts, components, or systems on machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure operational efficiency.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Adhere to all safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with production staff and other maintenance team members to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities.
May involve basic fabrication, welding, or machining tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
