A client of ours is hiring for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal in the downtown Louisville area.  This Paralegal will support their medical malpractice teams.  If you have experience in civil litigation then this may be the perfect fit for you.  This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $63,000 - $73,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of drafting and tracking HIPAA-compliant medical authorizations for all clients.
  
  
• Utilize litigation defense experience to assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
  
  
• Maintain highly organized physical and electronic case files to ensure all documentation is easily accessible.
  
  
• Execute complex administrative tasks including the coordination of expert witnesses and court filings.
  
  
• Demonstrate multitasking abilities by managing multiple case deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  
  
• Follow up rigorously with healthcare providers and facilities to ensure the timely procurement of medical records.
  
  
• Draft detailed medical chronologies and record summaries to support the discovery phase of litigation.
  
  
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and medical staff to keep case progress on track.
