Plant Electrician needed for immediate direct hire opportunity just north of Boston, MA. The right person will perform a variety of tasks supporting the engineering and packaging equipment teams. This electrician will have a MA State Electrical Licence along with 3+ years experience working on electronic control systems, to include PLCs.

responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair any issues relating to electrical distribution systems as well as the electronic components of processing and packaging equipment.
  
  
• Ensure plant code compliance to include; NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.
  
  
• Provide appropriate power supply to selected projects.
  
  
• Perform scheduled PM on electrical and electronic equipment .
  
  
• Support management teams ensuring proper compliance .

Qualifications

• Must have MA Electrician's license along with 3+ years related plant experience
  
  
• Working knowledge of electronic control systems including PLCs.
  
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair components with packaging machinery
  
  
• Must have exceptional communication skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  
  
• Proven computer skills including the use of MS Word, Outlook, Excel and scheduling tools.
