Responsibilities

• CMM Operation: Perform inspections of incoming and outgoing products using PC-DMIS CAD++ software and Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM/PCMM).
  
  
• Precision Measurement: Use handheld gauges (calipers, micrometers, height/pin/thread gauges) to verify part specifications.
  
  
• Blueprints & GD&T: Interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings using ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) discipline to identify critical characteristics.
  
  
• Testing & Analysis: Support other lab phases such as Layup, Physicals, or Mechanical testing (using Instron frames) as needed.
  
  
• Documentation: Generate and file detailed inspection reports, document non-conforming products (Red Tags), and maintain full traceability in Toray?s database.
