Assistant Safety Directors are needed for a renowned construction organization outside of Indianapolis, IN (near Monrovia). This role is essential for promoting a zero-accident culture and ensuring that all project activities comply with company policies and OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to construction site safety and a proactive approach to risk management.

The ideal candidate will have 2-15+ years of commercial construction safety experience, with a preference for managing large-scale, complex projects. You should have formal safety training in areas like hazardous energy control, crane management, and fall protection. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. A bachelor's degree in safety management and professional certifications like CSP, CHST, or SMS is highly desirable. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Lead and manage on-site safety efforts on complex projects, collaborating with project teams and clients

Identify, track, and correct safety deficiencies in the field
Conduct daily inspections and teach on-site safety classes, including OSHA-10 and OSHA-30
Manage and coordinate on-site training, wellness initiatives, and safety material procurement
