QA/QC QA QC Construction Assistant Superintendent are needed for a renowned construction organization outside of Indianapolis, IN (near Monrovia). The QA/QC Professional will oversee the implementation and management of the project quality control program. The role involves performing daily quality procedures, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with both internal and external team members to review documents, coordinate tasks, and implement quality control measures during construction and commissioning.

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in office or field construction roles on projects similar in nature and size. Proficiency in MS-based software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam, BIM360, Field, and SmartSheet, is essential. Certifications such as ICC, ACI, ASNT, AWS, and NICET are preferred but not mandatory. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and owner representatives. Conduct inspections with trade partners to ensure checklist accuracy before and after inspections.
  
  
• Understand construction processes, including testing protocols, soils and concrete testing, asphalt paving, structural steel, and general construction observations.
  
  
• Ensure project QC documentation is complete and procedures are followed to mitigate project risks.
  
  
• Read and understand construction plans and specifications, identifying errors or redundancies for resolution.
  
  
• Manage equipment tracking tools by updating inspection statuses and project workflows.
  
  
• Conduct quality and office/field meetings, review deficiencies, punch lists, and provide documentation and meeting minutes
