National company is expanding and has immediate openings for a Hardware Technician, located in Chippewa Falls, WI. This position will involve a range of responsibilities including installation of systems, hardware repairs within a computer lab environment, computer system builds following detailed specifications. Basic troubleshooting and debug activities, and other activities as needed. The right canidate will have an opportunity to learn new skills while executing in a professional and freindly work environment. 

salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Build systems within a lab environment
  
  
• Install and configure hardware to specific requirments
  
  
• Troubleshoot hardware and identify failures
  
  
• Installation of server/data center class components
  
  
• Follow written and verbal instructions and cable diagrams 
  
  
• Test systems at various steps in the manufacturing process to meet product specifications
  
  
• Perform firmware upgrades and track changes that have been completed
  
  
• Updates production records and test results by entering data accurately into databases
  
  

The successful candidate will have:
- Associates Degree or experience
- Good Computer skills
- Experience working in Linux enviroment helpful
- Time Managemnet skills and ability to work independently

This is an immediate, Full Time position in Chippewa Falls, WI with complete compensation package.
