responsibilities:

• Serve as a key technical resource, making real-time decisions impacting process efficiency and product quality
  
  
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency
  
  
• Design and deliver technical training and communications for teammates, partners, and customers.
  
  
• Actively analyze data and apply metallurgical principles to troubleshoot production issues and optimize casting performance

requirements:

• BS Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Material Science, or similar
  
  
• Required: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience with thin slab caster operations
  
  
• Experience from a steelmaking or aluminum environment
  
  
• strong communication skills required
  
  
• Ability to work both independently and on a team
