As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be the backbone of our supply chain, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-reliability electronic components. You will navigate the complexities of the aerospace industry, balancing strict quality standards (AS9100/AS9120) with the fast-paced nature of global component distribution. Your goal is to secure high-quality parts?ranging from semiconductors to connectors?while mitigating risks like counterfeit products and lead-time fluctuations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is trying expand their knowledge.

salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Identify and vet global suppliers for active, passive, and electromechanical components.
Negotiation: Execute purchase orders (POs) with a focus on cost reduction, favorable payment terms, and expedited delivery schedules.
Compliance & Quality: Ensure all components meet aerospace-grade specifications. Verify certifications (CoC, FAA Form 8130-3) and manage documentation for traceability.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and market trends to anticipate shortages. Manage "Just-in-Time" (JIT) deliveries to meet production and client deadlines.
