A leading Long Island manufacturer is urgently seeking Maintenance Mechanics for 1st and 2nd shifts to join their high-growth, GMP-regulated facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the uptime of advanced production systems, utilizing your expertise in 480V electrical, PLCs, VFDs, and multi-craft troubleshooting (pneumatics/hydraulics) while strictly following established SOPs. Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and maintain 480V 3-phase systems, PLCs, and VFDs to ensure seamless machine logic and power distribution.
Perform preventative servicing on motors, conveyor setups, and production machinery using blueprints, OEM manuals, and engineering specs.
Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures by observing equipment in motion and using precision testing instruments.
Lead rapid-response repairs for unscheduled downtime and manage scheduled maintenance during planned windows.
Use precision tools (levels, plumb bobs, etc.) to adjust control instruments and functional components for peak performance.
Work alongside the Engineering team on new equipment integration and facility-wide process improvements.
Conduct all maintenance and repair activities in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a sanitary and compliant production environment.
