We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Mechanical Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming parts, in-process components, and finished products meet our strict engineering specifications and quality standards. You will utilize a variety of precision measuring tools and interpret complex blueprints to maintain the highest level of manufacturing excellence.

salary: $50,000 - $90,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Dimensional Inspection: Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
  
  
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, including a deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols and standards.
  
  
• CMM Operation: Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to verify complex geometries.
  
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection records, generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  
  
• Compliance: Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and that all processes adhere to ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
