The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical and electronic components and subassemblies used in high-reliability systems for mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Perform precision soldering (including SMT and through-hole components) to IPC standards.
- Assemble cables, harnesses, circuit boards, and electrical panels.
- Conduct inspections and functional tests on completed assemblies.
- Identify and report defective components or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain production logs and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical assembly, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- IPC-610/620 or J-STD-001 certification is a plus
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
