salary: $72,800 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation:
  
  
  • Set up CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis) by installing and aligning work-holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and guides.
    
    
  • Load and secure materials onto the machine table.
    
    
  • Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions, process adjustments, or tool wear, making real-time corrections as needed.
    
    
• Programming and Tooling:
  
  
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols to determine part dimensions and tolerances.
    
    
  • Write, edit, and optimize CNC machine programs (G-code and M-code) to achieve optimal efficiency and surface finish.
    
    
  • Select and install the correct cutting tools (end mills, drills, taps, etc.) based on material type and machining requirements.
