Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains

  • Troubleshoot and service hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, and cylinders

  • Perform upfitting of truck equipment such as plows, PTO systems, liftgates, utility bodies, and auxiliary hydraulics

  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability and performance

  • Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues

  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards

  • Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation

  • Maintain accurate service records and contribute to a clean, safe shop environment

_ Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel technician or heavy equipment mechanic

  • strong understanding of hydraulic systems and diesel engine diagnostics

  • Experience with vehicle upfitting and fabrication is a plus

  • Valid driver?s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)

  • Own basic tools; specialty tools provided

  • strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team



salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains

  • Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, buses, and heavy equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders

  • Inspect and replace worn components such as fuel injectors, turbochargers, and brake systems

  • Install and upfit equipment such as plows, PTO systems, liftgates, and auxiliary hydraulics

  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues

  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety and emissions regulations

  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins

  • Rebuild or overhaul engines and major components as needed

  • Maintain accurate service records and work logs

  • Ensure work areas meet OSHA safety and cleanliness standards

  • Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime

  • Stay up to date on diesel technologies, hydraulic systems, and OEM specifications
