Our client is looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to truly "own" the process. A Staff Accountant who thrives on variety?ranging from full-cycle month-end close to strategic payroll and vendor management. You won't just be processing transactions; you will be partnering with Leadership to provide data-driven insights to drive financial performance. Forget being "siloed," this Staff Accountant will be a cross-functional liaison between Payroll, AP, and AR. This is a high-visibility role where you serve as a problem-solver and a key advisor to leadership.

salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities

Drive the Month-End Close: Take ownership of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules to ensure a smooth and accurate close process.
Strategic Payroll & Compliance: Manage & validate payroll data within ADP, acting as a key advisor to management on compliance and process efficiency.
Oversee AP & AR, resolving complex discrepancies & ensuring external relationships remain seamless.
Financial Reporting: Distribute monthly account analysis reports, providing the "why" behind the numbers to help department heads make better decisions.
